ZPB Kaczmarek is a renowned manufacturer of paving stones and accessories for road construction and civil engineering. Owner Krzysztof Kaczmarek and his daughter Dominika Kaczmarek, Managing Director, expanded the product portfolio to include concrete elements for residential construction. Another two production halls were built in Prusice near Wroclaw. They were initially used for Tecnocom stationary tables and moulds for the manufacture of balconies and staircases. This was followed by an order for a highly automated carousel plant from EBAWE.
In terms of automation, Kaczmarek installed a robotic system consisting of storage, shuttering and de-shuttering robots. The Mesh Spacer robot sets spacers for the reinforcement meshes from the BlueMesh welding plant. The lattice girders are manufactured just-in-time. The automatic concrete spreader, combined compaction, turning equipment and the ebos® control system with numerous modules complete the advanced carousel technology.
