When constructing with semi-finished parts, in-situ concrete and precast concrete construction methods are combined. Semi-finished parts are single-layer concrete panels with integrated lattice girders. Basically, lattice girder floors and double wall elements are distinguished. Semi-finished parts are erected within a building and arranged together to form a floor or wall. The floor skin and space between the two wall skins are subsequently completed with fresh concrete. Finally, after curing a monolithic structure with great rigidity is formed.

The advantages of this combined construction method are the elimination of formwork on site with a considerable shortening of construction time and the two fair faces. Thanks to the low weight in comparison to finished parts, substantial cost reductions in transportation and installation are achieved.
